PURPOSE:To reduce the number of lead lines and to restrain evaporation of He by connecting main power source to both ends of the series connection of a plurality of superconducting coils and by supplying a current from each of remaining power sources to the coils excepting one coil. CONSTITUTION:Liquid He 12 is stored inside fluid container 11. Coils 13 to 15 inside the container 11 are composed of superconducitng coil pairs 13a, 13b to 15a, 15b which are arranged in opposition so that a central axis of coil spool matches. The coils 13a to 15b are connected in series through conductive lines 16 to 20. Winding ends 21, 22 of the coil 13 are connected to one end of first and second lead lines 23, 24. Winding ends 25, 26 of the coil 15 are connected to one end of third and fourth lead lines 27, 28. Lead lines 23 to 28 are lead out outside through the container 11 and a vacuum container 29. A main power source 20 is connected to lead lines 23, 28. A second power source 31 is connected between lead lines 23, 24, and a third power source 32 is connected between lead lines 27, 28. Additional current is supplied by a main power source 30 in this way. |
