<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improvement in the field of agent delivery; and a non-invasive and flexible method and carrier for transporting a compound or an agent through an individual blood brain barrier.SOLUTION: A biologically active polypeptide can cross a cell layer imitating a mammalian blood brain barrier in an in vitro assay, where the polypeptide may be selected from the group consisting of an aprotinin having a particular sequence, an aprotinin analog, an aprotinin fragment which may comprises an amino acid sequence defined in the sequence, a biologically active analog of the sequence, a biologically active fragment and a biologically active fragment of the analog.</p> |
