PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt adhesive composition which is excellent in creep resistance and thermal stability and can exhibit excellent adhesive strength to a hydrophilic porous substrate in a wet state.SOLUTION: There is provided a hot melt adhesive composition which comprises: 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic block copolymer (A) containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer and a styrene-butadiene/butylene-styrene block copolymer, which have a styrene component content of 30 to 50 wt.%, respectively; 0.05 to 10 pts.wt. of a liquid rubber (B) having a carboxyl group and/or a carboxylic acid anhydride group in the molecule; 30 to 150 pts.wt. of a naphthene-based process oil (C1) or 20 to 120 pts.wt. of a paraffin-based process oil (C2); and a tackifier resin (D).
