PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined sump service part that limits the gross weight and improves efficiency and manufacturability of a turbine engine.SOLUTION: Embodiments of the present disclosure involve a combined sump service part with a specific structure where oil sumps are moved closer together and routing of supply, scavenge and drain circuits and lines are simplified due to commonalities among them. In one embodiment, a combined sump structure in an engine comprises a sump part comprising one or more sumps, a single oil supply route provided for all sumps, and a combined sump drain route. |
