PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device with tracking function, which can detect a position faster than position detection of a subject in response to only image processing and can perform automatic tracking even if the position detection by image processing is difficult.SOLUTION: A photographing device includes pan/tilt drive means and includes a function for detecting and tracking a specified subject in a photographed video. The photographing device also includes: first recognition means for recognizing a tracking object from image processing of the photographed video; second recognition means for recognizing the tracking object in response to ranging information of a ranging sensor; and control means for controlling the pan/tilt drive means so that the tracking object is displayed in a prescribed position in the photographed video to track it in response to subject recognition by the first recognition means or the second recognition means. The control means performs automatic tracking control of the first recognition means prior to recognition by the second recognition means. When recognition by the first recognition means cannot be performed, the automatic tracking control is performed on the basis of the recognition by the second recognition means. |
