PURPOSE: An apparatus for identifying toxic gas in a livestock barn is provided to create an environment where toxic gas is wirelessly measured and classified by converting a voltage value of data measured from toxic gas into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for identifying toxic gas in a livestock barn comprises: one or more sensor devices (10) which are placed at a region where mixture gas containing toxic gas is generated, converts data of the mixture gas into a digital signal, and wirelessly transfers the digital signal; and a classification device (20) which receives the digital signal from the sensor devices and checks the kind and concentration of the toxic gas. A method for identifying toxic gas in a livestock barn comprises the steps of: measuring the data from the mixture gas containing toxic gas and converting the data into a voltage value; wirelessly sending and receiving the data by the classification device; and checking the kind and concentration of the toxic gas from the data and recognizing and classifying the toxic gas.
