摘要 <p>An automatic power adjustment apparatus and method for optical network system are provided by the present invention. In the automatic power adjustment system which comprises a power adjustment module arranged in a network management single board and multiple electric-adjustable optical attenuators: each OA single board, i.e. Optical Amplification single board and each service forward board report their power relevant parameters to said power adjustment module respectively; the power adjustment module determines whether adjustments for an OA single board and/or a service forward single board are required after calculation according to the power parameters reported by the OA single boards and the service forward single boards, when requiring adjustments is determined, the adjustable optical attenuators on relevant OA single boards and/or service forward single boards are triggered to perform power adjustment. The present invention solves the problem of manual adjustment of the optical power point in the optical network in the prior art and the problem that adjustment must be performed under the condition of network management, thereby manpower cost and adjustment time are saved, and algorithmic automatic power adjustment is performed without network management.</p>
