PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging control program which can eliminate unbalance of images between an object which a flash reaches and an object which no flash reaches by properly adjusting the sensitivity in executing imaging twice including flash ON and flash OFF by one imaging instruction, and also saving a recording capacity of the image. SOLUTION: First when a release switch is half-pressed and a switch S1 is turned on, S1 processing is executed (step S16). Then a flash is set to ON (step S18) and imaging sensitivity is set to high sensitivity (step S20). When the release switch is fully depressed and a switch S2 is turned on, the image is picked up by flash ON (step S22) and recorded (step S24). Succeedingly, the flash is set to OFF (step S26) and the imaging sensitivity is set to high sensitivity (step S28). Then the image is picked up by flash OFF (step S30) and recorded (step S32). In addition, the S1 is the switch turned ON in half-pressing, the S2 is the switch turned ON in full pressing, and S1 processing is AE and AF processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
