The method involves obtaining data relative to an access bandwidth value and capacity of a delay device. An assembly of delay devices for which the capacity of each delay device is greater than/equal to a target value is selected based on the data. Verification is made whether the bandwidth values of the assembly is greater than/equal to required value. A data flow is divided into portions, and interconnection devices (020) comprising delay devices of the assembly are configured, such that portions are delayed by the time equal to the target value , in case of positive verification. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising program code instructions for implementing a data flow transmission configuring method (2) a computer readable storage medium for storing a computer program to implement the data flow transmission configuring method (3) an interconnection device configured by the data flow transmission configuring method.
