The system (1) has a central locking device (5) constituted by a control rod (6) and strike openings at the level of central posts (3, 3') of sliding leaves (2, 2'), respectively. Movable hook-shaped bolts (8) are pivoted or tilted between retracted and deployed positions, in a plane perpendicular to planes of the leaves. The bolts are extended with respect to the posts, and are engaged with strikes of the respective posts through the openings when the posts are arranged opposite to one another in a closed position of an opening frame in the deployed position. The leaves slide via carriages whose bodies are made of low thermal conduction material i.e. thermoplastic material.
