PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer having a constitution suitable for miniaturization. SOLUTION: This analyzer includes a specimen nozzle for discharging/sucking a specimen; a specimen dispensation mechanism having one end of the specimen nozzle mounted thereon, rotatable with respect to an axis in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the mounted specimen nozzle, and having specimen nozzle transfer means for transferring the specimen nozzle; a reagent nozzle for discharging/sucking a reagent; and a reagent dispensation mechanism having one end of the reagent nozzle mounted thereon, rotatable independently of the specimen nozzle transfer means, with respect to an axis in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the mounted reagent nozzle which is an axis agreeing with the rotation axis carried by the specimen nozzle transfer means, and having reagent nozzle transfer means for transferring the reagent nozzle.
