<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording medim whose both sides are printed, from being outputted in a state that the vertical direction of an image does not match with the vertical direction of the recording medium when forming the image onto the recording medium and outputting the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 refers to job information 142 and judges whether a tray specified as a paper supplying tray exists or not when printed paper is used. When judged that no specified tray exists, by referring to tray information 141 and the job information 142, whether or not printed paper is set in the printing direction corresponding to an image direction for an original image or in a binding direction output and set to one of the paper supplying trays, when judged that the printed paper in the printing direction corresponding to the image direction of the original image and the printing direction according to the binding direction output and set, the paper in the paper supplying tray to which the printed paper is set is selected as the paper to be supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
