The arrangement has a shock absorber (40) supported at a car body (10) under interconnection of a flexible support (44) in order to reduce oscillation amplitude of the body within the range of a resonant frequency. The absorber is supported in two lateral supporting points of the body by a supporting carrier (43) running in a car transverse direction. The absorber is arranged in a distance above a drive motor (20), where the distance permits relative movement between the absorber and the motor, and the two supporting points are formed by spring-damper strut mountings (17, 17`) of the body.
