<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device enabling a combustion burner to operate normally by spreading liquid to a heat exchange means even when the liquid remaining in a heat exchange system is frozen when a flow of the liquid in the heat exchange system stops. <P>SOLUTION: The heating device 1 includes a primary heat exchanger 4 and a secondary heat exchanger 5 on the way of a combustion gas passage 3 where combustion gas generated in the combustion burner 10 flows, and these heat exchangers are connected by a connection passage 18. The connection passage 18 includes a trap structure part 31 formed on the way and bending in an approximately U shape, and a bypass passage 35 is provided above there.
