PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive lifting/lowering-type shelves corresponding to shelf boards of various sizes without loosening of the shelf boards in use, which have high mechanical strength, can be assembled easily and installed in an idle space or the like. SOLUTION: The shelves comprise a rail mounting plate 7 fixing to a wall face 5 or the like, a slide rail 9 mounted on the front of the rail mounting plate 7, a movable frame 15 moving upward or downward in specified strokes together with a movable rail 11 of the slide rail 9, a constant-load spring 19 fitted to the movable frame 15 through a spring supporting bracket 17, a pair of right and left guide rods 21 moving upward and downward together with the movable frame 15 and a shelf board 23 fitted to the lower ends of the guide rods 21.
