PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a polymer film having almost no physical property difference in its flow direction and width direction and excellent in the uniformity of various physical properties, and the utilization of the polymer film. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the polymer film, the central part 120 of a gel film comprising a high-molecular resin can be allowed to retreat forcibly because the stress opposing the shrink force produced in the central part 120 of the gel film within a heating over is applied to the central part of the gel film by a stress applying part 320 in a state that both end parts 110 of the gel film comprising the high-molecular resin are fixed. Accordingly, the bowing phenomenon caused at the time of baking of the gel film can be suppressed and various physical properties can be uniformized in both of the flow direction and width direction of the film.
