PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally execute the level adjustment of an input pulse into a counting processing circuit, including a waveform shaping circuit by manual operation on the engine tachometer body side. SOLUTION: A pair of mutually contactable/separable sensitivity adjusting electrodes 9, 10 are connected to the middle of a circuit that connects an antenna 6 to a measuring processing circuit A, and moving operation of at least either of the sensitivity adjusting electrodes 9, 10 to the other is enabled, by using an operation member 3 in a section to a position, until the sensitivity adjusting electrodes 9, 10 are mutually separated to the maximum.
