PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring thermodynamic values of a compound and accurately measuring glass transition point, secondary phase transition point and Schottky thermal abnormality point from the measured values. SOLUTION: In the method of measuring the glass transition point, secondary phase transition point and Schottky thermal abnormality point of a sample compound, a sample compound comprising a pyridinium ion having a profile similar to benzene molecule and a planar square complex ion is heated at a constant temperature, the rising temperature of the sample compound is measured, the thermal capacity is calculated from the measured result, the thermal capacity value is differentiated, the glass transition point is determined from the result and the secondary phase transition point and the Schottky thermal abnormality point are calculated by subtracting a value after a calculation of a differential value of a normal thermal capacity from the result of a differentiation of the thermal capacity after the normal thermal capacity is calculated.
