HERBAL PLANT COMPOSITION FOR ATHEROSCLEROSIS

PURPOSE: A herbal plant composition for atherosclerosis which is harmless safety to human body without adverse effects even when administered for a long period of time is provided. Therefore, it can inhibit arteriosclerosis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for atherosclerosis contains 3 to 5 parts by weight of Atractylodis Rhizoma, 0.5 to 1.5 parts by weight of Thujae orientalis folium et ramulus, 3 to 5 parts by weight of Scutellariae Radix, 0.1 to 1 parts by weight of Poria cocos and 0.1 to 1 parts by weight of Glycyrrhizae Radix. The composition is formulated into powders, granules, capsules and tablets and orally administered in an amount of 1 to 10g per day.
