PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope for intubation which is rightly orientated in the case of its use by being accurately curved upwards without being twisted side to side when curving an inserting tube and further, does not damage the inserting tube or the like even when the endoscope is curved with a small curvature radius or is repeatedly re-curved in the case of being inserted to the inserting tube so as to have excellent durability. SOLUTION: An observation window 13 is located in the top portion of the inserting tube configured by linking a flexible part 1a which is flexible and free to curve on the top side of a rigid part 1b which is not freely curved, and a stick 6 having a rectangular cross section to function as a core metal is located while being inserted within at least the flexible part 1a of the inserting tube while matching the directions of respective sides in the vertical and horizontal directions of an observed picture obtained through the observation window 13.
