PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide fiber useful for an airbag having high strength, low fluffing tendency, light weight and compact size. SOLUTION: The polyamide fiber has a single fiber fineness of 1.1-4.5 dtex and is surface-coated with 0.6-3.0 wt.% oil agent containing 30-50 wt.% ester derived from a dibasic acid and a monohydric alcohol, 20-50 wt.% ester derived from a monobasic acid and a substance having >=3 hydroxy groups, 1-10 wt.% ester polymer derived from a dibasic acid and/or a monobasic acid and a substance having >=3 hydroxy groups and having a molecular weight of 10,000-30,000 and 0.5-5 wt.% alkylphosphoric acid amine salt having a molecular weight of 1,000-2,000. |
