PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pneumatic tire capable of reducing production costs, management costs and distribution costs, and to obtain its manufacturing method and its mounting method. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 10 bears an indication of a ply rating which represents as a maximum value the maximum load capacity of the pneumatic tire, and also an indication of another ply rating of smaller value, thereby enabling a manufacturer and a seller to improve productivity and reduce the cost of production of the tire 10, in contrast to a tire with a single indication of ply rating, and besides enabling to reduce inventory, and then management costs and distribution costs. Thus reduced cost of production, of management and of distribution enables reduced sales cost of the tire 10, presenting economical tire for a purchaser.
