The invention relates to a manhole cover for a canalization (1, 1') in the form of an access shaft, a dome shaft or the like, having one concrete frame with at least one through hole (D) that supports a cover part (L) on the top support edge in assembled position and which is provided with an annular gap (51) on the bottom side for receiving the top area of the shaft part (30). According to the invention, the concrete frame is embodied as a cover plate (50, 50').
