PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rosin-containing, water-based acrylic/urethane copolymer exhibiting excellent adhesion properties to a plastic film having poor adhesion, and a coating agent excellent in adhesion properties and an adhesive. SOLUTION: The rosin-containing, water based acrylic/urethane copolymer comprises a water-based polyurethane-based resin obtained by chain extension, in water using at least one chain extender (e) selected among water-soluble polyamines, hydrazine and derivatives thereof, of a neutralized isocyanate group- terminated prepolymer obtained from (a) an organic polyisocyanate compound, (b) a high molecular-weight polyol, (c) a compound bearing an anionic hydrophilic group and at least two active hydrogens and (d) a chain extender optionally employed, where the high molecular-weight polyol (b) comprises, in addition to 5-60 wt.% of an acrylic polyol having a hydroxyl value of 5-200 mg KOH/g, a rosin-modified polyol or a ring-opening polymer of lactones obtained employing as a reaction-starting point a rosin-modified polyol. There are also provided a coating agent containing the same and a copolymerized product.
