PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treating method and device therefor capable of inexpensively and efficiently removing halogenated org. compd. such as dioxins. SOLUTION: In the waste water treating method for treating waste water containing a COD component and a halogenated org. compd. as the first waste water, a removing stage in which the COD component, etc., are removed from the first waste water and discharged as the second waste water, a stage in which membrane-permeated water is separated with a membrane and discharged as the third waste water, a stage in which a carbonaceous adsorbing material 11 is added to the second waste water, and a stage in which a part of the second waste water is returned to the first waste water as a membrane raw water, are included. In such a case, when a carbonaceous adsorbing material 11 is added to the second waste water, since the amount of the COD component, etc., in the second waste water is removed and lowered, the COD component and dioxins, etc., are efficiently adsorbed. Moreover, the adsorbing material 11 is used for removing the COD component, etc., at post stage by returning the adsorbing material 11 to the first waste water, effective utilization of the adsorbing material 11 is possible. |
