PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid stop of operation of a refrigerator due to a fault decision by eliminating alteration of a learned value in the set temperature raising direction by an operation of a high pressure protective thermal control means when a high pressure switch is operated. SOLUTION: An indoor control unit 23 senses an abnormal pressure rise of a discharge side of a compressor 1 by an ON operation of a high pressure switch(HPS) 11 to stop operating of the compressor 1 and an outdoor fan 7 within a predetermined time. Meanwhile, an outdoor heat exchanger temperature is detected by an outdoor heat exchanger temperature sensor 14. Thus, the compressor 1 and the fan 7 are stopped within a predetermined time at temperature corresponding to pressure before predetermined value for operating the HPS 11. In this high pressure protective thermal control system, a set temperature at the time of operating is arbitrarily varied in the low or high temperature direction in response to an actual operating state of the HPS 11 or high pressure protective thermal control means. And, even at the time of operating even once the HPS 11, a learned value is not altered in the set temperature raising direction. |
