PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multiprocessor system which shares a program memory. SOLUTION: This system consists of processors 200, 202, 204 and 206 which are connected in a ring shape, a global memory 230, a program memory 220 where all processors can be connected and a program prescribing the contents of operations that the processors perform is stored, a system bus 240, and a memory switch 250 which connects the system sub 240 to the program memory 220 after system resetting and to the global memory 230 after the identification numbers of the processors are recognized. The respective processors 200, 202, 204, and 206 recognize recognition numbers and are then enabled to share the program memory. A multiprocessor system can easily be actualized in limited area like a VME system. |
