PURPOSE:To improve the quality of translation of a translation of a translation CONSTITUTION:A translation device is provided with an input part 1 where the sentences written in only KANA (Japanese syllabary are inputted, a morpheme analyzing/KANA-KANJI (Chinese character) converting part 3 which divides the input sentences of only KANA for each morpheme, e.g. each word, etc., based on a morpheme analysis dictionary 2 to analyze the paragraphs, carries out the KANA-KANJI conversion in the finally decided paragraphs to produce the KANA-kANJI sentences and also stores the morpheme information that divided each paragraph, a translation processing part 4 which analyzes the structure of each KANA-KANJI sentence based on the data on the KANA- KANJI sentences and the morpheme information and then translates the analyzed sentence into an English sentence, and a display monitor 5 which displays the English sentence translated at the part 4. |
