PURPOSE:To elevate the cooling effect by building a thermal decomposition into a vacuum adiabatic container together with a getter to decompose a marsh gas or the like into a gas easily absorbable by the getter for prevention of deterioration in the vacuum due to methane or the like. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum adiabatic container 1 of a dual construction is composed of glass inner and outer cylinders 2 and 3. A non-vaporizable getter 4 in the form of activation by energization is so arranged between the inner cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 3 in such a manner as to be connected supportively to a lead pin 5 sealed airtight at one end of the adiabatic container 1 and these space areas are made to be exhausted in vacuum. A photoelectric conversion element 6 for detection of infrared rays is arranged on a cooling base 7. An infrared ray transmission window 8 is made to face the photoelectric conversion element 6. A ceramic terminal plate 10 has a conductive pattern 11 for bringing a lead outside the adiabatic container 1. A nickel tube 13 as metal member with a heater for thermal decomposition of gas is arranged in a vacuum area between the outer and inner cylinders 2 and 3 in parallel with the existing non-vaporizable getter 4. |
