<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the existence of a paper sheet discharged to a tray in an automatic document carrying device to automatically operate the tray according to an operating condition of a device. SOLUTION: Three sensors 12, 13 and 14 are arranged under a document setting surface 7. The sensor 12 is a set document detecting sensor, and the sensor 13 is a document size detecting sensor, and the sensor 14 is a discharge document detecting sensor to detect the existence of a document on a document receiving tray 11. The discharge document detecting sensor 14 is arranged so as to face upward from the document setting surface 7 being a fixing member similarly to the other sensors. Therefore, wiring to the sensor 4 is easily performed. The existence of the document on the document receiving tray 11 is detected by the sensor 14, and when the document runs out, the document receiving tray 11 is rotated so as to stand vertically upward.</p> |
