PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which ha improved shape stability and dimensional stability and is freed from a problem of causing shrinkage by heating, by blending polyethylene terephthalate with a copolymer composed of a six- membered ring acid anhydride unit, a methyl methacrylate unit, an arom. vinyl compd. unit and a (meth)acrylic acid unit. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. consists of 99-50wt% polyethylene terephthalate and 1-50wt% copolymer composed of 3-20wt% six-membered ring acid anhydride unit (A) of the formula (wherein R1, R2 are each H, methyl), 1- 80wt% methyl methacrylate unit (B), 1-65wt% arom. vinyl compd. unit (C) and 0.5-10wt% (meth)acrylic acid unit (D). If desired, 5-160pts.wt. reinforcing filler is blended with 100pts.wt. said resin compsn. Examples of the fillers are glass fiber, carbon fiber, asbestos fiber, talc and mica. |
