PURPOSE:To enable pulverized coal from a coal mill to be distributed in uniform density to each branch pipe, by rotatably installing an inclinable slanting plate to the branch part of a main piping. CONSTITUTION:The flow rate of pulverized coal in each branch pipe 3 is measured by a flow meter 26 installed in the branch pipe 3, and when a difference in the flow rate of pulverized coal between the branches 3 is produced, the protruding distance of a piston rod 25 of a slanted cylinder 24 is varied through an on-line by means of a microcomputer. In the case of, for example, the branch pipe 3 having the low flow rate of pulverized coal, the protruding distance of the piston rod 25 of the slanted cylinder 24 is changed. For example, in the case of the branch pipe 3 having low flow rate of pulverized coal, if the piston rod 25 of the slanted cylinder 24 is protruded, a locker arm 21 is turned around a pin 22 serving as a flucrum, a reciprocating shaft 15 is pressed against the main piping 1 side against the repelling force of an elastic body 19 by means of a projection 23, and a slanting plate 5 is inclined at a given angle through the medium of a link mechanism 17. This enables pulverized coal from a coal mill to be distributed in a uniform density to each branch pipe.
