PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of damage due to rocking of a support leg, by a method wherein, in case a working platform is transported, rocking of the lower end of the support leg is restrained by means of a wedge positioned between a support leg guide and a rack. CONSTITUTION:When a support leg 2 is lifted to a leval in the proximity of a rise limit in order to carry a working platform, a forward end 25 of a hook arm 22, attached to a wedge 16, engages a pin 21 of the support leg. Thus, the wedge 16 is pulled out with the rise of the support leg, and if a teeth part of a unit block 18 gears racks 7, the wedge 16 is further pulled out resulting from the rise of the support leg. If the support leg reaches a rise limit, the wedge moves between the rack 7 and a side 15, positioned facing and opposite to the rack 7, of a support leg guide 12, and a limit switch 23 detects pins 21 to complete a rising drive of a pinion 8. As a result, the lower end of the support leg is restrained, and the rocking of the support leg prevents a dynamic load from being exerted on the pinion. |
