PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery holding structure of a battery-driven construction machine, capable of efficiently mounting a plurality of batteries. SOLUTION: This battery holding structure of the battery-driven construction machine has cylinders 34a to 34c, a driving battery 241, inverters 231a to 231e, and electric motors 271, 274, 281 and 431L, and has a casing 5 capable of storing a plurality of driving batteries 241, a stand 6 storing this casing 5 so as to be capable of layering a plurality of stages, and a stopper shaft 7 capable of fixing the casing 5 to this stand 6, and is constituted so that the casing 5 has a projecting holder 52 on the upper end of a column 51, and has a recessed holder 53 on the lower end, and the stand 6 has a projecting holder 63 engageable with a recessed holder 23 of the casing 5 on a bottom plate 62.
