Ultrasonic transducer having a piezoelectric transducer element with a top side and an underside, and having a cup-shaped housing with a top side and an underside, wherein an opening is formed on the top side, and having a coupling element with a front side and a rear side, wherein the rear side of the coupling element is acoustically coupled to the top side of the transducer element in order to couple out the ultrasonic waves produced by means of the transducer element to the environment in a transmission mode or in order to forward the ultrasonic waves received from the environment by the coupling element to the transducer element in a reception mode, and wherein the transducer element and the coupling element are arranged in the housing, and having a first electrode and a second electrode, wherein the first electrode is connected to a contact surface formed on the underside of the transducer element, wherein the transducer element is arranged in a cup-shaped screening apparatus made from a metal conductive material and the opening in the screening apparatus is spanned by a metal conductive grating, with the result that the screening apparatus and the grating form a Faraday cage, and the grating is formed between the top side of the transducer element and the rear side of the coupling element, and a gap is formed between the housing and the screening apparatus, and the housing is acoustically decoupled from the screening apparatus. |
