PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the delay or hesitation in completing shift when executing torque-down control during power-on up-shift. SOLUTION: An ECU executes a program which includes a step (S108) of stopping engine torque-down control during power-on up-shift, a step (S112) of estimating engine torque TE in accordance with an engine revolving speed NE and an intake air amount KL, a step (S114) of calculating a climb gradientαof the estimated engine torque TE, a step (S116) of calculating a value obtained by adding a product of the climb gradientαof the engine torque TE and a coefficient K to previously calculated command pressure, as command pressure P, and a step (S118) of transmitting a control signal corresponding to the calculated command pressure P to a solenoid valve.
