PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of efficiently collecting toner with a first brush roller and a second brush roller to exhibit high cleaning performance for an endless belt even when the voltage applied to the first brush roller is increased.SOLUTION: The length of a first contact area where a fur brush 91B contacts with a secondary transfer belt 12 is defined as LB1. The length of a second contact area where a support roller 91A contacts with the secondary transfer belt 12 is defined as LR1. The length of an area where the LB1 overlaps with the LR1 in the movement direction is defined as LN1. The length of a third contact area where a fur brush 92B contacts with the secondary transfer belt 12 is defined as LB2. The length of a fourth contact area where a drive roller 23 contacts with the secondary transfer belt 12 is defined as LR2. The length of an area where the LB2 overlaps with the LR2 in the movement direction is defined as LN2. In this case, the relationships LB1>LR1 and LN1<LN2 are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
