<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses a formed image from detaching from a recording medium, by utilizing a discrepancy between softening points, when transferring and fixing a plurality of toner images formed by use of toners having different softening points onto the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, an image is formed by successively transferring toner images formed by respective toners Tk, Tc, Tm, Ty mutually having different softening points, and the formed image is fixed onto a recording medium. Among these toners, the softening points are high in the order of Tk>Tc>Tm>Ty. In the image forming apparatus, the closer a superposed position of the toner image is to the recording medium, the lower a softening point of a toner type is used to form the toner images. Thereby, among layered toners, a toner having a softening point that is lower and easier to melt than other toners adheres to the recording medium, thus the image is suppressed from detaching from the recording medium. Further, among the layered toners, a toner having a softening point that is higher and more difficult to melt than other toners is exposed on the surface, thus glossiness of the image is suppressed low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
