The connector has an upper part (32) connected with an end (14) of a windshield wiper arm (12) in a dismountable manner. A lower part (34) received in a dismountable manner between two parallel flanges (24) of a clamp (16) of a windshield wiper blade. The flanges are connected by an upper spine (26) and the clamp has a transversal rod (30) which extends between inner sides (24i) of the flanges.
