The present invention provides a highly reliable circulation device for quickly detecting an abnormal status of a status value pertaining to blood flowing through a circulation circuit, without requiring any extraordinary operation. To this end, when an extracorporeal circulation mode is started, first a pump is operated and flow stabilization is awaited. When the flow has stabilized, two thresholds for delimiting the upper end and lower end of an allowable status range are set by adding and subtracting a prescribed value from the stabilized flow. Thereafter, whether the flow falls within the allowable status range delimited by the thresholds is monitored, and an alarm sounds when the flow falls outside this allowable status range. |
