<p>Writng pen made from stell or another non-noble metal is provided with a corrosion-preventing coating (>=0.5 mu) formed by reaction under vacuum between carbon-, nitrogen- and/or boron-ions produced by a high-frequency plasma discharge and metal particles emitted from a high-frequency-heated coil made from a non-noble metal melting above 1300 degrees C, pref. Ti or Ta. These coatings have excellent abrasion resistance and adherence to the substrate.</p> |
