PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a vehicle for restraining vibration in starting an engine.SOLUTION: A driving device of a vehicle is provided with a motor generator 21 mechanically coupled with an output shaft of an engine 2 via a transmission device 5. The driving device comprises: a combustion means 51 for executing initial combustion by injecting fuel to a cylinder in a compression stroke during stopping the engine, when the engine 2 is started; and a start assist means 51 for assisting the start of the engine 2 by generating a starting torque by the motor generator 21 when the engine 2 is started. The start assist means 51 makes the time for generating the starting torque longer as a piston of the cylinder for the initial combustion is nearer a top dead point. |
