PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gas refining facilities capable of removing an impurity from gas produced from various fuels to refine into a hot gas and a highly efficient power generation system having the gas refining facilities. SOLUTION: The gas refining facilities include: a scrubber 10 for washing gas containing a combustible component with a wet method; and desulfurization equipment 20 for removing a sulfur compound contained in the washed gas washed by the scrubber 10 with a dry method. In the gas refining facilities, the temperature of the washed gas introduced from the scrubber 10 to the desulfurization equipment 20 is retained at temperature at which a water vapor is not condensed. Thus, a refined gas suppressed with a decrease in temperature is obtained. Further, since the water vapor contained in the washed gas is not condensed, energy emitted with cooling of gas by washing with the scrubber 10 is not discharged from the gas refining facilities. Furthermore, since the progress of a chemical reaction which generates carbon from carbon monoxide in gas is suppressed by the water vapor in the washed gas, it can be avoided that solid carbon is deposited in a pipe, a heat exchanger, a reactor, an impurity removing agent and a power generator.
