PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance grinding accuracy and to further improve productivity of grinding by further improving a dressing effect, while suppressing wear of a grinding wheel as much as possible. SOLUTION: A grinding using surface 5a of a superabrasive grinding wheel 5 is dressed by a rotary dresser 6 imparted with a cut and performed with a feed operation by changing peripheral speed Vd of the rotary dresser 6 by adopting at least two of a first dressing process in which the peripheral speed Vd of the rotary dresser 6 is set to be smaller than peripheral speed Vw of the superabrasive grinding wheel 5, a second dressing process in which the peripheral speed Vd is set to be the same as the peripheral speed Vw, and a third dressing process in which the peripheral speed Vd is set to be larger than the peripheral speed Vw.
