PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button unit for a game machine by which good operation feeling of a button can be obtained. SOLUTION: A stop button unit 60 has a stop button 62 and a button unit body 61 including a housing section 20 housing the stop button so as to be able to push down the same. The stop button 62 has an operation section body 671 of a button base section 66 extending along a pushing down direction and a button operation section 67 and a collar section 673 extendedly arranged in the front surface in the one end side of the operation section body 671, a metal washer 68 is arranged in the front surface of a base section 66 side of the flange section 673. The housing section 20 has a shaft section housing section 21 in which the button base section 66 of the stop button 62 and the operation section body 671 of the button operation section 67 are housed and a flange section housing section 22 in which the flange section 673 of the stop button 62 is housed, and the flange housing section 22 can abut on the metal washer 68.
