RESIN-MADE INTAKE MANIFOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold capable of miniaturizing a flange and reducing cost of a seal member. SOLUTION: This intake manifold has a first member 26 and a second member 28 formed by a raw material which can be welded to a constituent member of the intake manifold 24. A communication port 38 making contact with a suction passage 36 and detouring passages 40 which makes one of them contact with the contact port 38 and makes the other of them contact with a passage 18 of a throttle body 10 are formed on at least either of welding faces of the first member 26 and the second member 28. The flange provided in the throttle body 10 and swelling to the outside conventionally is eliminated by welding the first member 26 and the second member 28 and providing the detouring passages 40 in the intake manifold 24. Consequently, it is possible to miniaturize the flange, improve sealing property between the throttle body 10 and the intake manifold 24, and reduce cost of the seal member.
