PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of outputting a high-grade image attended with little positive ghost even in a new charging system and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor is used in an electrophotographic apparatus having a charging means consisting of charged particles based on electrically conductive particles of 10μm to 10 nm particle diameter and a charged particle carrier having an electrically conductive elastic surface and supporting the charged particles, wherein the charged particles come in contact with a body to be charged to charge the surface of the body to be charged. The resistance of the particles supported on the carrier is 10<12> -10<-1>Ω.cm and the amount of the particles supported is 0.1-50 mg/cm<2> . The photoreceptor has at least a photosensitive layer and an electric charge injection layer on an electrically conductive support and hole mobilityμt (cm<2> /V.sec) in an electric field of 3×10<5> V/cm satisfies the formulaμt>1×10<-6> cm<2> /V.sec. The process cartridge has the photoreceptor.
