PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and effectively absorb shocks applied to a frame member from a longitudinal direction regarding the frame structure of an automobile. SOLUTION: A subframe 5 is provided in the front ends of main frames 2 and 3 disposed to be extended in a vehicle back and forth direction, one end of the subframe 5 is connected to the main frames 2 and 3 with it middle part swingably supported on the main frames 2 and 3, the other end is disposed in the same direction as the front ends of the main frames 2 and 3, and when shocks are inputted from the front side of the subframe 5, by moment generated by the swinging of the subframe 5, the main frames 2 and 3 are bent in the connecting part of the subframe 5.
