PURPOSE: To judge whether an object to be packaged is caught or not immediately before a heat-welding, prevent the object to be packaged from being damaged, and reduce a loss of the object by catching. CONSTITUTION: In a cylindrical packaging paper 13, objects to be packaged are inserted with a specified interval. The cylindrical packaging paper 13 is pinched from the vertical direction with an upper welding plate 4 and lower welding plate 5 and heat-welded, and the welded cylindrical packaging paper 13 is cut at the heat-welded part to manufacture a pillow type package 17. Contact type displacement-sensors 6, 7 are fixed in front and behind of the upper welding plate 4 in such a manner that they may be integrally displaced together with the upper welding plate 4. When contact parts of the contact type displacement sensors 6, 7 come into contact with the cylindrical packaging paper 13, the displacement signals are input in a control unit 8. The control unit 8 is equipped with a trapping judging means which judges whether there is fear of catching of the object to be packaged at the heat-welding part, or not. |
