<p>PURPOSE:To provid a wide sweet spot and satisfactory repulsive performance by using a zinc group-reinforced composite material making a matrix of zinc or zink alloy and using the reinforcement of titanic acid potassium whiskers or the like for an iron head. CONSTITUTION:For a golf club iron head is used a zinc group-reinforced composite material using at least one kind of reinforcements making a matrix of zinc or zinc alloy and selected from titanic acid potassium whiskers, boric acid magnesium whiskers, boric aluminum whiskers, silicon carbide whiskers, short alumina fibers, short ceramic fibers, long silicon carbide, fibers, long alumina fibers and long graphite fibers. The rate of reinforcement content in the composite material is 5-80% in the normal volume rate. Thus, a golf club head having a wide sweet spot and satisfactory repulsive performance is provided.</p> |
